Default F23 crank with F22 rods

My tuner is uncertain and I have gotten some vague answers from other tuners in the area and local shop. Some say yes, some say no, but no one seems to elaborate other then "yeah all F series SOHC are the same practically!"

Bottom line, will F22A/B con. rods work on a F23 crank? I have a new F23 crate engine, but havent torn into her yet. Although limited... its a lot easier to find some aftermarket F22 rods than ANY F23 rods.

Thanks again!

Thanks man, the moment i posted this, i finally saw a chart comparing the mains of the different F series cranks.

What a bummer too, Bisi rods were around $400 for f22's..... and the only f23 rods i can EVER find are some crower rods for the f23.... $800...ouch

This sounds like an interesting problem. What are you doing with an F23 that requires aftermarket rods?
