Default F22A6 Build-up....

I was crusing around on http://www.honda-performance.com/ and was taking a look at the amazing internal items that you can't seem to find elsewhere. So, my questions is what is needed to make my F22A6 engine that has a redline about 6200rpm to rev to 8000rpm with boost? I don't have a big budget and I'm aware of the three issues faced with performance parts (Reliablity, Affordable, Powerful).

Thanks,
Caleb

P.S. I have a F22A1 and a F22A6 engines.

quick answer is:

Lightweight valvetrain, cams for that kind of rpms, balanced and blueprinted bottom end, forged pistons, lightweight rods, and all else OEM new (water pump, oil pump, seals, tensioners, etc..)

Off course, many people will jump in and say that lightweight stuff is not that necesary, but i guess it all depends in your answer, how constant will you be reving that high?

you said that you where on a budget, reving to 8k rpm and boosted is not that cheap, unless you want to take reliability out of the question

I had an idea that this isn't cheap, but I'd like to piece it together over time. As far as how consistent I'm going to be at 8000rpm, I'd like to be able to run at 8000rpm without having to worry about blowing up the motor. Another thing, where can you find light-weight rods and how much is blueprinting the bottom-end?

well, then if you don't want to worry about it build it right.
I would look into crower, they made some good stuff.

As far as blueprinting, if you buy a helms manual, and read around, you can do it yourself, blueprinting is just making sure all the tolerances are within specs, and you can send the bottom end to any shop to have it balanced and then you can blueprint it and put it together yourself

Would balancing be a major factor in the performance? Also, I've heard that some prelude(H22/H23) parts will fit into the F22, is this true? What about the F22A1 parts with F22A6 parts? I've searched around but can't seem to find any answers...

You HAVE to balance it if you want to rev it high and also want durability, also trying to get a piston and rod combo that can help bring up the rod to stroke ratio, since the one on the Fs is not that good for reving high, because the side loads at those speeds will eat your cylinder walls quicker.
