Icon2 F22A1 w/ F22A5 head?

so i was really interested in putting vtec into my sohc cb7, but i want to keep my cb7 as original as possible. no h22s no g22's. no swaps! I met some dude at the junk yard the other day an he was saying in order for me to hook up a vtec head i just need to slap it in there, torque it down attach 4 wires to the ECU an BAM! vtec.... Just seems to simple... Does the 92 accords ECU already come prepared or watever for vtec? if not wat do i need to go about doing?

STRICTLY keep the answers and questions to this build please, i just dont like beating around the bush hahaha

also my engine shakes bad at some moments. i have oil in the 4th spark plug. bad valves? blown piston? new seals?

Throw the question at me and ill answer accordingly..

Are you using some kind of build thread or DIY to follow as a guide? You really don't want to try and make this up as you go. When people do, their builds always fail with massive problems.

No im not following any plans. Ive researched different ways to put vtec in but so far ive come to the conclusion that everything should bolt up right since its the same engine, F22a1= 2.2L, F22a5= 2.2L vtec. If also heard that the F20b1 vtec head is the actual way to go but i couldnt find where it comes from. Im trying to throw it in, in a weekend.

My advice to you is to get one and follow it to the letter. That would include parts. Otherwise I predict you'll be back here with major problems. It's not the physical installation that is the problem usually.

Ive searched here and didnt really find much.. I know of any plans involving either an f20b1, f22b1, or an f22a5 head swap? Im pretty sure all these heads come in vtec.. NO BUDGET
