I donno how many people are still really messin with these but i know there is someone who can help me out. im about to buy a 91 accord with a built f22a1. it has a crower cam, pulley kit, 4-1 header, skunk2 exhaust, short ram intake, fuel pressure reg, arp head studs and je pistons with roughly 10:1 compression. i'm not sure what size the cam is and its also mated to a jdm H22 trans. it still has the stock ecu as well. i myself have never messed the f series engines but they are very intriging to me. what V-TEC heads will bolt up to this block? will an h22 head bolt up? and also if i changed to a vtec head, being the car is obd-0 what ecu should i use? if its possible to run an h22 head i guess an H22 ecu out of an obd1 car will work with a jumper harness right? and i just am curious to know about anyone's personal experience with these engines and whether they make good power when built up and tuned. its gonna be a dd so its not like it has to be the fastest thing around but im bored with my d series but i like to be different and this is def not the norm these days. thanks for any help!!!
