Default F22 head swap??

I am posting this for my friend... He drives a 2001 Accord EX coupe, equipped with the ULEV vtec 2.3 engine. I have a feeling that since it's a 'ultra low emissions vehicle', that head probably doesn't flow too well. I was wondering if the F22 sohc vtec head from a 95 accord EX would bolt up, and would it yield him any sort of power gain, since it was before the ULEV stuff? Thanks.

Default Re: F22 head swap?? (vtecivicex)

It wouldn't make a significant difference at all in the power curve... a NA buildup for a F22 is definitely a challenge... but your friend might to better with a port-and-polished head...
