f series motor x-changes
Im new and have 5 post left so ill make it as informed as I can. First let me greet everyone. Sup... yea the same 0thcb from cb7tuners.com
I would like to get the specs on intake mani../ cruise cntl thorrtl body../ head flow../ largest cam../ exhaust mani../ & WHICH F SERIES HAS THE SMALLEST CRANK? ../
i.e.-- SOHC auto A'card/'ludes have bigger cams.
My plan and budget is to get an all out OEM motor together
in other words:
what is the largest thorttle body with cruise produced for these motors?
What are the shortest stock runners produced with out IAB?
What F SOHC head has the best flow or capacity?
what F SOHC non-TEK cam was the best for NA ?
what F SOHC non-TEK cam is best for a Z32 Turb?
What F series had the shortest stroke?
What OEM Manifold is the best flowing ?
What b-pipe has the best flow?
If no one can answer any questions. Comment on were i could find this info. Not cb7tuners because i've been "dis privalged" and they cant answer.... kinda
what i would like. f21a1 bored/destroked/blue print/balanced/nitride/shotpeen/stress relieve/extrude hone 155-185 flywheel hp in NA form.
largest t/b or stock to retain cruise
type s plenum or largest that does not require extra wires for IAB
short runner with out IAB for more HP
hondata composite keep it cool
largest cam OE to be legal
best head or stock with extrude
small crank and h22a rod 4 better r/s ratio
9.5:1 c'r i think this is all around driveable
h22 manifold/ largest gotta have something to pass emisison
large stock b pipe sleeper
ask a friend or direct or push me in the correct direction. as long as it a Honda motor....

HELP !!! a cb7 brother out.

10thcb7<--- ran a brand new po6 out of a 93 civic auto 1.5 sohc. in a f22a1 with even comprison took various cranks and runs to keep it idleing right. after a few more runs it still ran like ****. after i turned it out it smoked out the exhaust and cracked the mid pipe. Then threw a code 43 and a code 1 . really with an intake and iridium plugs there isnt enough mods for the p06. I think a header/cat/exhaust/ and a vacuum sens. fuel reg could help support the p06 auto soch 1.5 ecu. the timing map is really shitty too .The rev from 1.5k-4k is really sloppy if anything at 4k till 6k it felt more like the stock ecu ... I dunno but ab ib ab arabbit thats all folks.
