Default A/F Meter Wiring Questions

Should I ground on my battery or is it ok to ground on the chassis? Should I run a single length of wirte or is it ok to have it ghetto rigged (different wires connected with butt conectors) ?

You can ground it to the chassis. I wouldn't getto rig it though. Do it right or do it twice!
