Default Extra Wire on OBD1 JDM Integra Si CAT??

Car: EK Civic
Engine: JDM Integra Si/GSR 1.8Vtec (B18C1).

I have what I was told is a JDM Integra Si CAT, connected to a JDM Si Manifold on one side and an EK4/EK9(dont know which it is) Mid Section on the other.

The O2 Sensor is on the manifold and that is fine.
However, there is another wire hanging out of the CAT which I have no idea about. Its a single wire, with an OBD Style plug pin on the end , as if it used to be part of a plug.

Anyone any ideas what the hell this is? engine runs perfect without it and is not throwing any codes.

If I recall correctly, JDM cars have a light on the cluster for an overheated catalytic converter. Perhaps this wire is for that sensor?

Hmmm...interesting.... might explain why its only one wire.... I'll have to take a look at a friends car which is JDM. My Civic is an Irish car.
If thats all it is then it will be getting introduced to my friend Mr Snips!
