Extending O2 wire help!!! please
What do i need to do and where can i get the wire.. im doing this so i can install header and cat on my civic.. need to extend the wire thanks for the help!!!

why do you need to do this? You can use any wire. get it at home depot. and just cut the wire and extend it, clip it then put electrical tape over it.

I would definitely solder the wires together, especially if they are exposed to the elements...

Solder and heat shrink(radio shack) Best
do not use electrical tape, the heat will cause the adheasive to fail
butt connectors work also, use real crimpers
but the connector eventually rust(oxidize)

Listen to dj_fixx, he is telling you the correct way to do this. Solder and heat shrink, any person who jsut cuts wires under the heed and then tapes them is asking for his motor to blow up.
