exhaust tech question...
alright...was just thinking about some things...and thought i'd ask the honda-tech community...
i've had both an apexi n1 exhaust, and now have an apexi world sport.
i like quiet exhausts...and the apexi world sport is really quiet until 5k+ rpm's...making highway driving tolerable and less obnoxious...
now, my question is this...
compared to a straight through muffler like the n1, how does it compare to the chambered muffler of the world sport.
and how do these two exhausts compare when the n1 style muffler has a silencer...
i'm thinking its like 3-5hp difference with open n1 compared to chambered muffler like the world sport...
but that the difference is not that substantial when the silencer is put into the exhaust.....
does anyone have DIRECT experience with dynoing both of these setups...and if so...what were your results...
i'm thinking midrange torque vs top end are also effected...although i never dynoed my old b16a with n1 so i have nothing to compare this to.
