I have a real bad exhaust leak right before my muffler, my car has been bogging really bad, around 1500-2000rpm. Could this be the cause of my leak, I had a '97 HX that had 2 small leaks, and every once in a while it would bog. Once I got it fixed though, I never had the problem again. Or could it be spark plug wires...etc? I also have CEL light on, but I can't find the little harness to check it with a paper clip, does AutoZone or someone check ECU's for free?

 

Since its a 97(obd2) yes just go to autozone and they can hook up a scanner for free and tell you the codes.
I would get the code(s) and go from there
Also a tune-up wouldnt hurt.
