Default Exhaust Help

i'm getting an ES tuning oval muffler, and was wondering what size i needed? i plan on just running the factory piping for a while.

i'm guessing to run the factory piping and have the es oval welded on i would need the 2.25 in and 2.25 out muffler

thanks

What do you drive?? Is it a DX hatch? I would just go ahead and get the 2.5 inch and take the muffler to a muffler shop and have them run some 2.5" piping for you and then weld the muffler on. You might actually see some gains that way and not just noise.

2.25" would be the best way to go piping wise

2.5" would kill power

if you're running the stock piping, i believe it's 1.5" or 1.75". you'd be better off having 2.25" custom bent for you vehicle at the same time. you won't gain anything from putting the muffler on alone (except noise). don't be cheap and do things correctly the first time around.
