Default Exhaust Flange Question

I am making a custom exhaust for my car b/c I have a hook up on mandrel bends, so it is gonna be way cheaper than any other setup. I want the whole system to be stainless, but I cannot find any stainless steel flanges (the part that bolts 2 sections together).

Does anyone know where I could get some stainless flanges, b/c I don't want mine to rust and fall apart like the will here in Minnesota.

You can also buy 3/8" or 1/2" flat stainless steel plate on ebay, mcmaster carr, msc, or many metal suppliers. Us google and your yellow pages to find them. It's a little more work to make your own flanges from flat plate, but you get exactly what you want and it is a lot cheaper.

What kind of machinery would I need to make it from flat plate??

I don't exactly have access to a machine shop, so if it requires much more than a drill and a hacksaw I think I'm out of luck.

Thanks for all the help guys!!

Well, my shop at school has those things, and if I did it that way, I could get an exact fit to my turbo as well.

Thanks!!
