Default Exhaust and Cat Question

I just bought an Apex WS exhaust for my car but i think they sent me one that is made for a 94-99GSR 4 Door but i have a 2000 4 door. I tried to put it on and it was to long. I also bought JDM 4-1 headers with a 2.5 collecter. So my question is do i have to cut my exhaust or get a smaller cat or what, i dont know? i do not want to send it back cause it took to long to get here.

I believe the JDM 4-1 header are actually longer than the stock header. I don't think the exhaust piping is the issue. You can either buy an aftermarket CAT or cut your piping. I would recommend you getting an aftermarket CAT...carsound, catco, etc.
