EX head swap(info is needed)
Since motor swaps are kinda costly, I was thinking of putting a EX head on my HX bottom end. I heard the HX has a higher compression ratio so it would yield more POWER(for lack of a better word). if i was to use new pistons, rods, and other internals, would this also be a way to "turn back the MILES of time" because of the new parts. My car has a **** load of miles on it
You can do a cylinder wall hone, and put in new rings if you want to freshen up your engine. New bearings will be nice as well.
You will need an Ex ECU, Ex head, Ex intake manifold and another 4wire O2 sensor to complete your swap. Plus, you will have to rewire your primary O2 sensor. Only problem is the Hx doesn't have a fuel tank pressure sensor so you will always have a CEL.
