EVAP? Do you need it?
It's required by EPA for gasoline evaporating from the tank. Since sometime in mid-'70s ALL emmisions are included, not just the tailpipe.
If you plug it all up, you need to vent your gas tank somehow. Before EVAP systems, the gas cap had a small vent like the one in your lawnmower. It's probably not worth the effort, because I don't think the EVAP system hurts performance anyway.

LOL, that could be true, but I see alot of people taking USEFUL things off that weight less than that even.

Nope. Took mine out when I dropped a jdm engine in. The tb doesn't allow for one. I just put a check valve on the line that normally vents the gas tank.
