Error code 45 on DC4...what could be wrong?

Error code 45 on DC4...what could be wrong?
I got a cel a week ago, checked the code and it says
"System Too Lean or Too Rich malfunction in the fuel monitoring systems"
stock 98 ls, so it's not mods that caused this to happen. Is that error referring to the map sensor? or would there be more things related to that?
