Default Erick's Racing Head

I just bought a '99 si dohc vtec cylinder head with ITR valvetrain off of EBAY for $625.00. Claims to have a full head job done by alaniz cyliner head technologies (competition level which costs $925 http://www.alaniztechnologies.com). This is the same work done on Erick Aguilar's Civic (www.ericksracing.com).

Is this a good deal? I'm not a total wrench head YET...but the descriptions on the websites convinced me to Buy It Now before someone else did!

Thanks!

Erick's Racing has a "B16" head. I didn't realize that sorry. But anyone can try to port a head with a dremel tool, so who knows for sure. Do you have any pics?

If they didn't send you the Alaniz flow chart, then chances are the work was never done...

if it isn;t you can always sue EBAY ... LOL

also, you can't compare a production ported head to that of what they did for Ericks since his is a custom job.

ericks whole car is all more then meets the eye, supposodly spent something like 40 hours customizing the intake manifold. that is why he would go through all the trouble to keep running it.

hey Cheetah how is the car coming along , i heard you dyno tuned it. are you going to maple grove this weekend??

I have a flow chart of a head thats better than Eric Agulars by a few % so if you show me your chart I can tell you if its the real deal. My head was just flowed by alaniz and he did a comparison up against his best head he has done, so i have the chart. The one I have is of one of xxxxxxx's brand new heads. Btw Eric runs a full blueprint head , not the competition series.
