Enigine wont start
no code, plugs are fairly new and none of the wires are sending. i pulled the cap off i don't know what to look for, i guess everything looked good, nothing caught my eye
Don't know any online sources but any cheap manual, Haynes, etc. will have procedure to check the igniter and coil. Might even be able to find one at a used book store if you have one around. Had my coil go out on my civic once, it just died, would turn over just fine, only no spark. Just my 2cents.

Hmm, remove the cap/rotor and see if you get any spark to the coil spring.

yes, its probably a bad coil... if you have a test light, clip the aligator clip to any good ground, and put the sharp end close but not touch the coil on the spring and have someone turn over the engine (with the key) you should see a blue to white spark jump the gap. (not light up the test light!)
Becha don't find any spark!!! This is usually due to the spark plug gap being to wide. (worn out plugs!) This will burn up the coil over time.

i took my cap and rotor off tonight, and i gronded a jumper cable (no test light) and got a sprak at the coil spring with that, the spark was really small but was there. should i replace the cap and rotor and see if that does it?
take off one of the spark plugs and plug it in the spark plug wire...then putit down sumwhea where it has has a ground...then try to turn the engine over and see if there is a spark comin from the plug...if there is no spark then the coil is bad...make sure u do not hold the spark plug...cuz if u do ...ull get shocked....
