Engine won't Rev below 1500
I have a 1990 Acura Integra GS. I recently installed a ported head with: .5mm oversized Ferrea SS valves with new valve seats, Crower dual valvesprings w/ titanium retainers. I used the stock camshafts and camgears(due to budget). I also machined my manifold 5mm oversize on the throttlebody side and put a Shortram Intake and Header. I had every hose connection and sensors placed where they should go in the engine, I also triple checked to see if I missed anything. Now, everytime I hit the throttle fast under 1500 rpms, it feels, looks, and sounds like the engine is "starving for air"; engine won't rev at WOT for a few seconds and even after, it goes slow till higher rpms. Over 1500 seems fine, but it feel like I lost power instead of gaining any. When I press the throttle at half-way, the engine revs fine as well. I adjusted my ignition timing; it helped a little bit when I advance it all the way at idle, but I still have a little "air starvation". Before I did this modification, my car ran normal, like it should. Please help me find out whats wrong with my car.
