engine/tranny will be going into storage soon HELP
sup peeps, i've pulled out my engine and transmission out of my car, it's going to be sitting there for a while, any precautions i need to exercise so nothing will rust or anything? i want to be sure because i've invested a lot of money into it. thanks for your help
if the whole engine/tranny is pulled I would change the tranny fluid and engine oil
Also remove the spark plugs, and pour some oil down into the combustion chamber then put the spark plugs back in place...so that the oil can keep your cylinder walls lubed up.
Plug up any oil/coolant/vacuum lines so garbage and junk doesn't get into it and it should be fine
