Default Engine Swap Noise

My friend just put a b20b with a 95 gsr head w/5 angle valve job on intake, and 3 angle on exhaust, everything else in the engine is bone stock. When we started it up you can hear clicking coming from the head.Whats causing this, are the valves too tight?

check valve clearances with that head/shortblock combo. Hope the engine was built correct.

Or maybe the head already was bad.... i doubt the block has a spun bearing or a loose pin ... though that noise is different but sometimes could be mistaken from clicking in the head
