Default Engine swap help

Hey guys... I have a question about the MAF on a 93 honda civic. Long story short im swapping out my engine. My old engine is a 1.5 8 valve engine. The new engine is a 1.6 16 valve out of a 93. The old engine has an MAF sensor on it near the throttle but the new bigger engine dosent have it. Can i by pass it ? and how or should i just by the right computer for the engine.... please keep in mind this is my first honda so go easy on my n00b *** lol. BTW im not new to forums so only helpful answers would be great.

the D16 doesn't use a MAF it uses a MAP so you would just scrap the MAF and use a MAP from any OBD1 Honda along with a P28 ecu. what year motor is the old one?
