Default engine swap from del sol to crx

i have a block i believe out of a del sol. the code on the block is d16z6. the head code is b40923072. the tranny code is l3-2120040. i am wondering if this is all correct. it is currently in a crx and i am having trouble with a few things. first, will the speedo work with the crx dash cluster and also i was wondering if anyone has an msd rpm controler in their car. i need to figure out how to wire it. whoever did this swap screwed up and i need to see where everything is supposed to go. any help you guys can give me would be great.

this also appears in the del sol forum as well. i wanted to put it both places to get a reply from a del sol owner and replies from people who do not normally look there.

Not too familiar with d-series but i'm pretty familiar with crx's.
use the crx mechanical vehicle speed sensor and your speedo will work. I beleive the right way to do that swap is convert to obd1 using a p28. I think people were using msd pills to activate vtec. The pills work but i've heard of better results from the obd1 conversion.
