This started happening, the engine cranks and starts normally and it would rev to 2k then drops down slowly and bogs down and then stalls every time. I know its a spark issue, because its receiving fuel

fuel pump is working
grounds are good
battery and alternator good
new plugs, wires, cap, rotor and coil
motor is dead on time
No CEL

no idle issues nothing, it just starts right up then stalls and the car shakes a lot before it dies.

Is this a possibility of a bad distributor?

 

You say you have fuel, but what is fuel pressure once engine has started and starts to stall?

Have you checked to coil and ICM, [igniter]?94

 

is your battery hooked up good termanals on good i had a problem one of the battery cable clamps were cracked and it would start up fine the slowly stall and die out switched out my clamps and good as new

 

I bought a new distributor and seemed to fix the problem, and car does not stall anymore it says on and idles fine...

i took it around for a spin and while accelerating it will sputter/hesitate around 2-3k and then it will go up fine...

only CEL is o2 sensor and i just placed a new distributor and new plugs and wires.
plugs are gaped correct.

its a stock h22a motor in civic.

could this possibly be a bad 02 that's causing misfiring/sputtering/hesitation during accelerating

 

would appreciate any kind of input
