Default Engine Start, But Stop's after 5-10 min...

Okay I have a weird problem with my ls-vtec. The engine start, and then it stop by him self after like 5 to 10 minutes, after it as stop I can't start it right away, I have to let the motor rest for like 30 minutes so it can start again for like 10 minutes and stops again...

I know my timing is good.
I tryed 2 differents OBD2 Distributor used.
I tryed 2 differents P28 ECU used.
I just don't know what is wrong with my car...

Problem came after I changed my head gasket for a cometic one.

This problem also came when I installed my AEM 3 bolt Cam gears, Walbro 255lph pump and B&M FPR at the same time I changed my head gasket... I friend of mind tole my about AEM 3 bolts cam gears... it seem that they come loose or something... problem is that the timing is off the camshaft and the timing belt ( crankshaft ).... anyone hear that too?

Did you change out the fuel filter?
Cam gears, Threadlock That is what I did.
If your timing is good then...??? No slip.

For the main relay... It drive the fuel pump I have a B&M Gauge and I can assure you there is no fuel delivery problem.
Timing is good so I guess my cam gears are okay.
Yup I changed my fuel filter (brand new one installed )

I have a other problem that I think is directly related to my ( Engine quit problem )
Okay, it mostly hapen at 5 000 rpm, Check Engine come on for 1 sec and engine stops ( for 1 sec also ) It does that none stop if you keep you feet on the pedal, also my tach is moving like Hells from 1000 to 5000 rpm in my cluster...

They guy at the speed shop said that he think my distributor is the problem... we already tested 2 used one...

Anyone had a problem like that one? check engine come on then engine quit, then restart in a fraction of a sec!

did you switch to the sock from your stock pump. check to se that the pump is pushing fuel to the motor. A friend of mine's car did the same thing. The sock that came on the pump wouln't reach into the bottom of the tank all the way so when it got to be half full it would just start pumping air. if he put gas in it let it sit for a while the sock would soak up some gas and run for a few min. and then go dry again.

Main relays very rarely cause stalling problems.

My best guess would be a bad igniter. (if it's loosing spark)

Anyone had a problem like that? Check engine come on! then the engine just quits for a second... the code is not recorded in the ECU... that's bad

Car = Civic hb 93
I had a 1999 B16a2 Head so coverted my distributor harness to OBD-2 to keep my distributor, all worked fine for like a month, then problem came after...

We decided to go back to OBD-1, since I hear they were more problems with OBD-2 distributor... so we ordered a rebuilt delsol 94-95 SIR distributor...

it solve the problem... I really had two OBD-2 distributor with the same damn problem...
