Engine stalls on cold starts...help please!!
Whenever I let my car sit for about a day, engine stalls right after start up.
As soon as the engine starts, it dies. If I step on the gas and rev it right after the engine starts and keep the rpms above 1k for a few minutes, it will idle. I'm thinking it's not getting enough air.
My setup:
comptech icebox combo, STR 68mm TB, Skunk2 IM for b16.
First I thought it was the map sensor that was clogged or something, but cleaned it, and still same thing. Then I thought it was due to the fuel pressure not being constant. (turned out to be some electrical problem, and now its fixed. FP is fine now)
Now I'm thinking may be its the diameter of TB being 68mm and skunk2 im being 63~64mm (not sure) not matching up causing the lack of air. Or the butterfly in the TB is stuck.
So what should I do: change the TB and/or portmatch those bitches? or what else can I check?
