Hey can any body break down all the honda engine sizes like the D's B's H's and any others differences in horsepower and what heads are compatible with what?
whats the biggest swap that can be dropped in a '92 civic hatch with little mods?

well there were a good many variations of each lettered engine...however the most common were these:

D-1.5L and 1.6L
B-1.6L, 1.7L, 1.8L & 2.0L (all b series heads are interchangeable, even vtec & non-vtec heads but with a little work)
H-2.2L and 2.3L

I think that the d series heads are interchangeable, however im not a d series expert, and i have no idea about the h series heads....and there are a million threads on here about power differences and stock hp ratings and such, just look around a little bit
