Default Engine Rods

here's some info on my short block..

I have a darton sleeved Is/vtec with forged 9:1 84.5mm

JE pistons, Eagle H beam rods, stock Is crank, and a golden eagle girdle..

The engine spun the #3 rod bearing and started knocking due to poor lubrication..

The engine makes 332whp 242wtq with a small turbo.. after the engine is rebuilt and broke in i will be buying a new turbo setup shooting for the 500whp.

My question is will it be ok to have my rods resized or should i just order a new rod?

If you guys need any more info or have any advice for me please reply back!

Default Re: Engine Rods

What was the cause of the poor lubrication....a bad oil pump?? Check for proper clearance and then get all new bearings since they aren't expensive.
