After installing a set of splitfire 8.8mm spark plug wires to my 1.5 vtec engine, the engine now producing some "tick tick" sound when it is cold (just started) and during acceleration, is this sound caused by different wire resistance between stock and the splitfire? Is the ignition timing affected by the aftermarket wire? I have replaced some new spark plug but they doesn't help!
