engine misses..

I just put in my d16y8 hybrid and the engine seems to miss throughout the rpm range. Under 3k its pretty noticeable but above it become less apparent. Could it be the fuel filter? Spark Plugs? I know its not a vacuum leak though.

HELP PLEASE

possibly a bad spark plug or wire. If you have another set available swap it out. If that doesnt help check valve adjustment and leak-down.
