Good afternoon everybody, i was wondering because my engine light is on my acura EL 98. I plugged the genesis computer/code reader on my car and it doesn't let me read it. Any past experience or idea...

 

if it is obd1 then you will have to jump the two ports under the dash on the passenger side of the car. use a paper clip and jump the two ports and then watch your dash to see how many times the check engine light flashes. one long flash is counted as 10 and short flashes are counted as 1 each. heres a link that explains how to do it. http://www.modifiedlife.com/how-to-d...acura-integra/. dont know why i cant make it clickable but just copy and paste that website.

Check fuse 43 under the hood should be 7.5A
