Engine keeps dying

Ok heres the problem i will be drving and when i come to a stop my engine will just die on me. This just started today and i have no idea why.

Could be a lot of things.

Does it idle good before dying? (i.e. does it suddenly die or do the RPMs keep dropping until it shuts off?)

sometimes it will idle real bad like its not getting enough fuel but when it dies it just drops off. somedays it wont do it at all
