engine help
before i decide listening to problems i'll name whats been checked
dizzys fine, compressions fine, it's getting spark, foulded 1 set of plugs so it's getting gas, changed the timing belt and water pump, set timing (used a timing light so i know its set right)
It's a 90 civic wagon.
whenever i try turning the car over it sounds like its going to backfire (it doesnt)
I was thinking maybe it's a bad fuel injector but it'd still crank if only 1 was bad, right? and they can't all go bad at once! it broke down as i was going down the highway around 70mph, it acted as if it was running out of gas it just started putting out. when it goes to turn over it starts putting and it gives a weird sound from the exhaust.
any idea?

if it dont turn over check starter or ignition. run a power to the starter to see if it turns and if it back fires, check your firing order. 1 3 4 2. cilinder 1 is closest to the crank pully.
