Default Engine dies

Ok this doesnt happen all the time but usually after short drives maybe 2 miles. When i go to start the engine it turns over, starts and then dies instantly. Then when i go to start it again the pump doesnt prime and it wont start. Is this due to a faulty sensor or bad fuel pump any ideas anyone.

check the main relay...also resolder the connections on the relay, it should solve the problem

in heat these mainrelay boards get heat soaked, warped and pop soldier joints. therefore like the last guy said, just resoldier them or buy a new one. the contacts sometimes just go bad as well. happens a lot in 5th gen and older civics
