Default engine building/cleaning

I am building a d16a6 over the winter with PM7 pistons.
My question is when Im done rebuilding the motor, it will sit for 2-3 months. And I want to make sure that the bearings and cylender walls are still lubed for the first startup.
I have rebuilt engines before (and used lucas oil on the bearings) but I put them into the car right away.
Can anyone give me any sugestions? Would a thick oil like Lucas be fine sitting for 2-3 months?

lucas is fine for bearings and you should use white lithium grease for the cams whether its going to sit or not

whatever you do dont use wd-40 because it is water based and will cause rust
