Engine bogging when engaging gas pedal? Help!
I was on my way to the gas station yesterday and when I got half way there the engine started to bog. Fuel pressure gauge is only reading about 12 psi. I'm assuming this is the problem. How do I determine if its the fuel pump is shot? If the fuel pump is shot would the gauge still have a reading? Or could it be something else? I'm new at this, hence the name, so I need some help from anyone who can offer. Thanks!
Not really sure on pump and gauge. But I wasn't completely empty on gas. I think it might just be a stock pump. It was running at about 37 psi before I left the house.

where is da fuel pressure gauge mounted? it should be around 40psi if its around 12psi, then ur motor is not receiving enough fuel, it may be a fuel pump prob. or kink in da hoses. how about now after you filled the tank is it OK?
