can someone tell me the type of motor that is in a 1999 Civic Ex, ive heard a couple of different ones, and read different ones....and what could i do for some serious power

 

#1 USE SEARCH!!!! It's their for a reason
#2 Look at your block code, if yours dosent say D16Y8 then you dont have a EX
#3 goto http://www.exospeed.com and buy all the engine parts related to a D16Y8

Hey Sideout, what could he possibly have searched for that would have told him this? No, seriously! Maybe D16Y8? (hahaha that was a joke) Or maybe EX? (hahaha you can't search for two letter words) No really! I didn't see it in the faqs and I did a few searches and found nothing in the first 50 or so returns for each search. Just curious what you would have searched for and where.

 

hey, thanks man, lol, nah i was just wondering which motor i ahve so i know what i can do to it to get alot of speed out of it, im wondering if i should work on that one, or just get a motor swap
