ok when i replaced the head gasket i didn't replace the head bolts,would that cause me to overheat.and if my water pump is bad how do you check it.but if the head bolts are bad i hope that it is the prob.and i don't have a cracked head or block.but with my luck that isn't the case.

 

Engine have plenty of fluids?
Fan running at idle?
Thermostat ok?
Any leaks from the head/block?
