Default ENeos 0-20 too thin for a built vtec bseries?

hi guys.. not sure where to put this, but i was looking at some 0-20 eneos, and thoguht i';d give it a shot, i take my lsvtec to about 9k.. but has anyone else had results with this? i dont want to get into a situation where my ol is too thin, therefore causing any issues with my valvetrain and so forth.

thanks guys.. yeah my 1.8L made 236hp to the hubs at church automotive with a very simple setup on the eneos 0-20. so i was very happy with the power output, but it burned off quick REALLY quick.. thats the only reason i'm worried about what its doing to the inside of the engine..

i'm going to try castrol euro formula 0-30 and see if it helps.. and yes its a street car

IMO why waste the money on that oil ?

Any good 10w30 should be fine. It's is a street car and subject to all kinds of adverse conditions a race engine never sees.

I wouldnt recommend a 0W-anything for a daily driver. I'm a fan of Pennzoil Platinum 5w30. It has a slightly higher burn off rate than Castrol but but has a much higher sheer level. Why would you want to use anything other than what Honda recommends?

0w is better for start up protection.....about 90% of engine wear is due to start up

0w-20 is too thin IMO... I wouldn't run anything lower than 0w30. But 5w30 is fine for B series engines. is a 5w that much harder than a 0w on startup?
