Emissions help
I've got an emissions test coming up.
What can I do to clean up the emissions? New plugs, cleaning the air filter, running higher-octane gas (will this help?), injector cleaner, leaning out the mixture a little & lowering the idle...
Any suggestions?

RUN LOWER OCTANE.....I hate that bad rumor.
Higher octane doesn't burn completly
Run the lowest you can, check your plugs, check your plug wires and make sure they are on properly, take off your throttle body and clean it, clean the inside of the intake manifold as much as you can, run the car around for about 30 minutes or so before you go to the smog station, don't shut off the car when you get there leave it running to keep the Catalytic converter hot.
One misfire while getting smogged and it's over.
