Default Emissions on dyno?

I believe this would be the proper fourm to post this.

In washington state all the emission stations are coverting to dyno emissions.

Are these accurate as a convetional dyno, other states doing this?

Damn, $15 a dyno run isn't too bad.

I think all emmsions testing use this now. I don't beleive it's that same "dyno" in the sense that it measures HP and TQ, I think it's to simulate driving the car, as in a load, to see how the car actually does while driving down the road. Besides I think WOT is exempt from emmisions rules, so they arent gonna be ringing her out for you.

I am not positive but

I don't think the emissions one is a Dyno. They don't put the car under any load.
Where a traditional dyno does.
