Default Electrical conductive compound

What is the white greasy stuff that's used to protect connections?

Is it the same stuff that's used to improve heat conduction for voltage regulators, ICs, CPUs etc?

you can pretty much use it for anything, i like using it on brake pins, when it gets hot it doesn't seep around and run all over the rotors and stuff.. also great for doing drum brakes

Have never used it before for either one of these apps, but I like the brake drum idea. Usually spot Urea or M77 on drums and antiseize the slide pins.

ANd yes that is indeed dielectric grease.

Dielectric grease is non-conductive.
