Came across this on ebay. It's a 1993 RX-7 that has been converted to electric power. I couldn't believe they would destroy such a great car.

Maybe they had already blown up the engine or something. I wouldn't do that unless I just had a roller.

I remember when I was in high school, I saw a VW squareback that had been converted to electric. Used a starter motor from a Rolls Merlin & the whole back was filled with about 50 normal car batteries.

 

I remember reading an article in an off road mag that was about an electric powered jeep. The thing put out 900ft/lbs at 0rpm, thats nutz! I guess electric cars aren't that bad after all.

 

so does the new toyota elestric car. Electric motors get 100% of Tq at 1rpm basically, The toyota has a limiter because it would snap the axles if the motors full potential was used from 0mph.

 

I wonder why the bidders identitiy are blocked...
