Icon2 ELD? Electrical problems? Charging System light + loss of power in boost.

Not sure where to put this. Hopefully this is the appropriate section.

Car/setup/info:
1995 Accord LX
Internally stock F22B2
Custom turbo kit. T3/T4 setup @ 8-12psi.
Street tuned by myself(crome).

I've been having some issues lately at high rpm/"high" boost. Essentially, when I do pulls at 5k+ RPM to redline, the charging system light will come on and a slight loss of power is noticed. I experience this problem much less at lower boost levels. I have not disabled ELD in Crome because I don't know if I should. Also I experience some light dimming/flickering(consistent with the charging system light flashing) at night with the headlights on, music playing and some other small accessories which appears to be random. It can happen when I'm accelerating or when I'm simply cruising in 5th. It has always rectified itself but it's annoying and puts me on edge because I think the car might leave me somewhere.

Things I have checked/more info:
Battery relocation in the trunk, but I had this problem before I did that.
All new terminals, all new wires.
Grounds are all connected, clean and tight.
Alternator is a remanned unit, around 8 months old.
Belt tension is good, belt was replaced with alternator.
Battery is around 2 years old. I have not had this tested but haven't seen the need to. It holds a charge fine and starts the car from a cold start in about 1 second. Basically as soon as you turn the key, the car starts.
No MIL codes.

I have a spare EX alternator, which is slightly higher amperage(IIRC) but haven't had time to swap them and check for change. From my understanding, disabling the ELD will decrease gas mileage and wear my alternator out faster so I'm not sure if I want to go that route if at all possible. What do?

Yeah. because you've been a member for 5 years and don't know there's a Forced Induction forum that this was more suited for.

Ask a mod to move it.
