Default ELD / car dying problem Need help Badly

Ok so a few days ago my speedo stopped working, and at the same time I threw a code 20 and 17, 1 for vss and ELD.... I thought nothing of it and was gonna put off the fixing of the vss for a while.

As it turns out last night my car loses all power while driving like the alternator is not functioning and it dies, I barely start it back up and get it home.

Tried charging the battery but its basically still full because it only charged for about 10 minutes. So I assume my battery is good and so is the alternator if it didn't eat my battery all up.

I've been looking into the ELD thing and have been trying to electrically troubleshoot. I found that my 7.5A fuse is under the dash is blown out. So I replace it and try and start her up.... the fuse blows again and I learn the fuse blows EVERYTIME I put the key in the ON position.

I'm really stumped, I just don't know why this fuse keeps blowing, it makes almost no sense to me whatsoever. I'm begging anyone for help thats been through this or knows alot about the system.

I'm the one that had the same problem. I had just found out that my fuel pump is seized up. So I took out the back seat and un plugged the pump and replaced the fuse. Now the fuse stopped blowing and I have spark. Just no fuel pressure. Somebody put sugar in my gas tank. That also explains the milky white christle like build up in my throttle body that caused my throttle to stick last week. I bet my injectors are plugged now too. I heard of people having the fuse blowing problem from putting a high performance fuel pump in. They simply put in a bigger fuse. The fuse #14 does a lot of things ELD, Main relay....

if someone put sugar in ur gas then your injectors are for sure clogged and you need to flush the entire fuel system and hope no sugar got into the engine....

On the 96-00 Civic DX, and LX, the problem is that there is a connector underneath the intake manifold that has a group of wires at a connector, that are rubbing on the intake manifold.....very common, with the same codes and symptoms. The wires that are rubbing have to be repaired and then covered with wire loom. There is a Honda Service bulletin on the problem.....
