Default EJ8 cages?

I cant find any cages made for the EJ8.the ones I have found are just crap universal roll bars etc.
I want a full cage for mine but cant find one. What fits from other model coupes etc.? please no guessing on what you think fits in, only what you know fits in as alot of people just reckon that other coupe cages will fit regardless when they don't. Pictures welcome and someone who has got or seen this done. Thanks in advance

Yeah you should quit thread jacking and head over to the sticky's in the road racing or drag sectio to find the list of those who can weld cages across the country.

Cant find nutin in speed factory. Other ones I've looked at are not really sufficient for what I want. However i have found a company close to me in the uk called custom cages. They do a prefab for a dc2 Integra that I've also heard may fit into the ej8 cuz of the similarities. Can anyone confirm this?

find a company that does custom cages and have one built to the rules and regulations of whatever class you'll be racing in.

if this isnt a track car get whatever the **** you want. it's stupid and dangerous regardless.

I didn't ask for your opinion fella..im asking for advice from people who don't have a 1track mind about wat THEY like.as for stupid and dangerous that's your own opinion to keep to yourself.im not asking to be criticised about what I want. And you seem to be stating the obvious so you isn't no help as i know if something doesn't fit it would have to be custom.

Hench the reason for asking if the dc2 cage is near enough.so if i don't have to go custom then that would be the better option for me.

Why should my well being be a concern to you? I was asking for info. Not an insight in to what's good and what isn't from someone that doesn't even know me and what I want to achieve. you stated the obvious and to be honest if I were as bright as what you seem to think you are then I should have never bothered asking in the first place and just gone custom. I don`t mind read that's why questions are asked to get advice on a point, not an opinion of 1 person. try reading the title and the first post I put on this thread. and If you don't know don't answer. its simple.

That's how they get 10's of thousands of posts.

Posting bullshit opinions and rhetorical questions, avoiding what you really wanted to hear.

right, because i didnt answer the question in the first post.

just because it wasnt what OP wanted to hear he keeps dicking around until he gets an answer to his liking.

for the cost of a cage and international shipping he could have just had one built to spec already.

Noobs with attitude and non-contributors. If I remember correctly this is a technical DISCUSSION forum, not a customer service helpline. If you want someone to spoonfeed you an answer then possibly you're in the wrong place.

You already answered your own question right here.
I cant find any cages made for the EJ8.the ones I have found are just crap universal roll bars etc.
If you cannot find one, and the stuff you found is crap, custom was always your only option. Trying to confirm if something might fit is just dumb to even chance or consider for a piece of safety equipment. Waste of time thread.

there is mention of other things fitting. And yes like the title says...I as in me.. cant find any cages, don't mean they do not exist. And seeing how this is a forum with thousands of people using it. a technical discussion as u put.maybe someone has the answer of how TECHNICAL it may be to fit another cage in. funny you should mention custom, my line of work is metal fabrication but considering the time it takes to plan, measure, fab and fit something this intricate when you have children and a mortgage to pay sometimes isn't always possible. I don't get some people on ere. cuz u reckon u know everything and fancy sticking your say in here as well u think it gives u an invite to get involved. and like I said to the other geezer. who are you to contemplate telling me about my safety? its dumb in your eyes. who gives a **** I didn't ask for a lecture. waste of time thread.. waste of time u commenting on it then wasn't it. im not asking for your opinion so stop wasting my time and yours

Its ok when you live off mummy and daddy. and how is having kids and a life to run be an excuse even though I am closer to making the cage in my own profession??? you have an issues with this post just as the other guy does as well.so do yourself a favour and stop commenting on it.. its boring. other people are commenting and being helpful. there is always a select few that have to differ and you seem to fall into that category. and are no help at all.

Cheers to all the NORMAL people that are trying to offer their help.its appriciated

Yes mate they are based a few hours away from were I live..I've contacted them and they are going to sort something out for me.. and surprise surprise for the others on here commenting rubbish about custom this and that. Custom cages (pre-fab) Integra cage will fit the EJ8 coupe with a little modification due to a couple inches difference in the statistics between the two cars. which I can do at work

Cheers uncle Dave for the advice..
And to the other two.. I told u. asking questions gets you answers .not everyone looks for the easy answer
