Default EF dash wiring harness...

If the dash wiring harness is not attached to the rest of the car, will the engine fire when you turn the key??

I just put my c1 from my teg into my 89 std hatch and I cannot get it to turn over when I turn the key. I converted to a full Si wiring harness throughout the car, but the only part of the wiring I dont have yet is the dash harness.

I can turn it over when I jump 12v from the battery straight to the starter solenoid, but I get no voltage to the starter from the ignition switch.

I do have 12v coming from the switch to the dash fuse panel, but I havent figured out the whole routing for the system after that...

Any and all help is greatly appreciated...

Later,
BR
