Hello HT peeps! worked on the head this weekend and got everything done. I had the head port and polished,ti retainers,itr valve springs,01 itr cams. For tuning I have a vafc,fuel pressure regulator,fuel pressure gauge. everything is running fine so far and this weekend I am having it dyno tuned. Now here's a couple of questions, I want to rev the engine to 8600rpm's but what kind of ecu will i be needing and other things to accomplish that? and what else are other benefits will a different ecu give me other than revving high? anby cons to it? well,the question your asking is too general...How about telling us what kind of engine you have?What car is it in? But most likely,you may have to have a re-maped ecu to your specs or find one already pre-programmed.

 

Oh I for got about that, its a 99si b16a2 with an obd2

I don't know of anyone who rechips OBD2 ECUs. Then again, I've never really looked.
