So I just completed my ls/vtec swap in my crx. I have a obd0 to obd1 jumper harness along with a chipped and socketed p28. The ecu works fine due to I just pulled it from a car a few minutes before putting in my crx. When the jumper harness and obd1 ecu is in it will not start. It turns over, sparks, and sends fuel. Now when I put my pr4 ecu in, direct plug in no jumper icluded it starts fine and runs fine. If anyone has any advice please let me know. Thanks

 

i just had this happen with my p28 in a '99 ex w/ b20 not too long ago... a couple things to check... make sure the jumper harness is undamaged from removal and installation... another problem could be the ECU... if you have another chip, try it and see if that solves the problem...

 

Tried all that and then swapped it to an obd1 distributor and still nothing.
